This was an experimental cake, which I was planning to bake from many days, but you can only take this type of risks when you are baking for near and dear ones. Many times my client come up to me with a request of cake , but they don’t want any frosting but still want some minimal decorations. So I have seen this Bakers work from Jakarta she make lovely decorative sponges . But I was not getting the perfect recipe to try. At last I thought to give it a try yesterday. After 1 failed attempt, this was the result of the 2nd attempt ,but still the recipe needs some adjustments to make it perfect. Although I have sliced the cake from middle and added some ganache, but we can always have this sponge only.
